At Taki Dent we use certified, high-quality dental materials. Specific restorative and prosthetic treatments we carry out are covered by our clinical guarantee programme, for the periods and under the conditions set out below.
The guarantee applies where the restoration or dental material is unexpectedly damaged for technical or material-related reasons.
In dentistry, biological healing and long-term outcomes depend on many individual factors — your bone and gum structure, oral hygiene, systemic health, habits, and functional loading. For that reason the guarantee periods stated here do not mean that the biological success of the treatment, or any particular aesthetic result, is guaranteed.
Guarantee Periods
Each treatment category has its own guarantee period and its own set of situations that can be assessed under it. All four are subject to the clinic-wide conditions further down this page.
Dental Implants
Lifetime material guarantee
Implants placed at our clinic and recorded in your implant passport carry a lifetime material guarantee, within the manufacturer's conditions and the guarantee terms on this page. Zirconia crowns or bridges placed on an implant are covered separately, under the 5-year zirconia restoration guarantee — the implant and the restoration on top of it are two different guarantees.
Situations that can be assessed under this guarantee:
• Fracture or structural failure of the implant body caused by manufacturing or material defect
• Manufacturing or material defect in original implant components
• Material-related technical failure of the original abutment or screw system
• Implant or component failures accepted as covered by the manufacturer
Where a claim is accepted, the implant or component is replaced under the manufacturer's conditions and the appropriate clinical solution is carried out at our clinic.
A lifetime implant guarantee does not mean the implant will remain in your mouth biologically for life. Osseointegration and the health of the surrounding bone and gum are affected by biological factors specific to each patient — see "Biological Situations Outside the Implant Guarantee" below.
Zirconia Crowns & Bridges
5 Years
Zirconia crowns and bridges made at Taki Dent are covered for 5 years from the date the final restoration is delivered to you. Standard-tier restorations use Dental Direkt DD cubeY® HL zirconia, for which our clinical guarantee is the only coverage. Premium-tier crowns made from genuine Ivoclar IPS e.max additionally carry Ivoclar's own separate 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
Situations that can be assessed under this guarantee:
• Material-related fracture occurring under normal conditions of use
• Unexpected structural cracking or fracture in the zirconia restoration
• Production defects originating in the technical or laboratory process
• Decementation or restoration failure determined by the dentist to be technical in origin
After the necessary clinical assessment, and where appropriate, the restoration is repaired, re-cemented, or replaced free of charge.
Professional hygiene and deep cleaning, gum treatments, root canal treatment, laser whitening, and dental work carried out by other clinics are outside this guarantee, as are travel and accommodation costs.
Laminate Veneers
5 Years
Porcelain and ceramic laminate veneer restorations placed at our clinic are covered for 5 years from the date of final delivery. The same material tiering applies as for crowns: standard-tier veneers in Dental Direkt zirconia carry this guarantee only; premium-tier veneers in genuine Ivoclar IPS e.max additionally carry Ivoclar's own separate 10-year manufacturer guarantee.
Situations that can be assessed under this guarantee:
• Material-related fracture during normal function
• Cracking or chipping arising from technical causes
• Debonding related to technical factors or the adhesive system
• Production defects originating in the laboratory or the material
Where the clinical assessment finds it necessary, the veneer is repaired, re-bonded, or replaced.
Staining from smoking, coffee, or tea, damage from accidents, trauma, or bruxism, and problems arising from gum disease or inadequate oral hygiene are outside this guarantee, as are travel and accommodation costs.
Composite Fillings & Restorations
2 Years
Composite fillings and the composite restorations stated as covered are guaranteed for 2 years from the date of treatment. No manufacturer warranty layer applies to composite work.
Situations that can be assessed under this guarantee:
• Complete or partial separation of the restoration during normal function
• Unexpected material-related fracture
• Debonding related to the technical application
• Failure of the restoration for technical reasons
Where the clinical assessment finds it necessary, the composite restoration is repaired or replaced free of charge.
Surface wear, discolouration, or loss of gloss developing over time through natural use is not treated as a material defect — see "Natural Changes in Composite Restorations" below.
What the Guarantee Covers
Our guarantee covers manufacturing and material defects in the restorations we make, and failures of technical origin that occur under normal use and appropriate aftercare, within the periods stated above. If a covered restoration chips, fractures, or fails due to a fault on our side within the guarantee period, we repair or replace it at no additional treatment cost. It does not cover damage caused by accidents, neglect, misuse, or the situations listed below. Full written terms are provided before your treatment begins.
When the Guarantee Does Not Apply
Problems arising in the following situations are not assessed under the guarantee, unless it is separately established that the problem originated in a technical or material defect in the restoration or treatment we carried out:
• Fractures caused by accident, falls, impact, or trauma
• Opening bottles with the teeth, cracking hard objects, or any use of dental restorations for a purpose other than their own
• Damage caused by biting very hard foods inappropriately
• Excessive loading from bruxism or clenching and grinding
• Failure to use a night guard regularly when one has been prescribed by the dentist
• Inadequate oral hygiene
• Advanced gum disease or periodontal bone loss
• Peri-implantitis
• Periodontal disease developing or progressing after treatment
• New caries or secondary caries
• Biological complications caused by smoking or tobacco use
• Uncontrolled systemic disease adversely affecting the treatment outcome
• Failure to follow the aftercare and usage instructions given after treatment
• Prolonged neglect of the check-up or maintenance schedule recommended by the dentist
• Intervention, preparation, repair, or modification carried out on the tooth or restoration at another clinic
• Modification of the restoration by another dentist, or intervention without clinical approval
• Colour changes appearing over time in the natural teeth
• Gum recession, bone changes, or age-related anatomical changes
• A later wish to change the colour, shape, or design approved during treatment, purely for personal aesthetic preference
The Natural Tooth Underneath
Over time, the natural tooth beneath a crown, bridge, or veneer may:
• develop decay,
• require root canal treatment,
• develop a root fracture,
• experience a periodontal problem,
• develop an apical infection.
Biological problems of this kind do not in themselves indicate a defect in the restoration material, and are assessed separately from the prosthetic restoration guarantee.
Biological Situations Outside the Implant Guarantee
The success of a dental implant depends on more than the implant material. Bone metabolism, oral hygiene, smoking, systemic disease, and how closely you follow post-treatment care can all affect an implant's long-term prognosis. For that reason the following are not automatically assessed under the lifetime implant material guarantee:
• Failure of osseointegration
• Peri-implantitis
• Advanced bone loss
• Infections around the implant caused by inadequate oral hygiene
• Implant loss associated with uncontrolled systemic disease
• Implant or surrounding tissue damage caused by trauma
• Complications from excessive functional loading or uncontrolled bruxism
That said, every implant complication is assessed individually by our clinic, and the most appropriate available solution is offered to the patient.
Natural Changes in Composite Restorations
Unlike ceramic restorations, composite materials may naturally, over time:
• become discoloured,
• lose their surface gloss,
• wear superficially,
• be affected by tea, coffee, smoking, and coloured foods.
Because these changes fall within the natural ageing and usage characteristics of the material, they are not by themselves accepted as a material defect under the guarantee. Unexpected fracture or debonding during normal use, however, is assessed clinically within the guarantee period.
Patient Responsibilities
For the guarantee programme to continue, we ask our patients to:
• maintain good oral hygiene,
• brush regularly and carry out the recommended interdental cleaning,
• have regular professional cleaning and check-ups,
• use a night guard regularly if one has been recommended by the dentist,
• pay particular attention to cleaning around implants,
• follow the usage and care instructions given after treatment,
• contact our clinic as soon as possible if a problem occurs.
If your check-ups are carried out in another country or by another dentist, clinical records, radiographs, or treatment documents may be requested where necessary.
Follow-Up Programme
Every patient is enrolled in a structured follow-up programme after treatment — you are not left to get in touch only if something goes wrong:
• a remote check-in 1 week after treatment, by WhatsApp or video call,
• a second check-in at 1 month,
• a third check-in at 6 months,
• a written aftercare guide tailored to your specific treatment.
If you return to Antalya within the guarantee period, an in-clinic follow-up examination is provided free of charge. Attending these check-ins also helps keep your guarantee valid.
How to Make a Guarantee Claim
If you experience any problem related to your treatment, please contact Taki Dent first — by WhatsApp, email, or video call.
For the assessment, you may be asked for:
• current intraoral photographs,
• a panoramic radiograph or CBCT scan where necessary,
• information on when and how the problem began,
• the relevant treatment records if a procedure was carried out at another clinic.
Where a definitive guarantee assessment is required, it is made after clinical and radiological examination.
For treatments determined to be covered by the guarantee, repair, re-cementation, replacement of the relevant restoration, or another appropriate technical solution is carried out according to clinical need.
If an emergency requires you to attend another healthcare provider, we recommend that you inform our clinic before the intervention where possible, or immediately afterwards.
Travel & Accommodation Costs
Unless specifically stated otherwise in the written treatment plan or guarantee certificate given to the patient, the dental guarantee does not automatically cover flights, personal travel expenses, or other third-party costs. Any travel, transfer, or accommodation support specific to a patient is applied according to the conditions set out in that patient's own treatment agreement.
Manufacturer Warranty Programmes
These are separate programmes run by the material and implant manufacturers themselves, under their own terms — not by Taki Dent. They are additional to our clinical guarantee, not a substitute for it. Each link below goes directly to that manufacturer's own official page.
Nobel Biocare
Nobel Biocare implants and eligible non-temporary, non-provisional restorative components carry a lifetime warranty. This is a product-replacement warranty administered through the treating clinic — not a treatment-cost guarantee. Abutments used on non-Nobel-Biocare implants: 10 years. NobelProcera/Procera products: 10 or 5 years depending on purchase date.
Straumann implants and attached metal abutments carry a lifetime warranty (Lifetime Plus on eligible Roxolid/PURE Ceramic systems in listed countries, including the UK and Germany). Straumann's official terms state this guarantee is administered for the treating dentist and covers product replacement — it is not a treatment-cost guarantee.
Genuine Ivoclar IPS e.max restorations — including IPS e.max ZirCAD zirconia and lithium disilicate — carry Ivoclar's own 10-year guarantee against material defects such as fracture or chipping in correctly and professionally fabricated restorations. This applies only to restorations actually made from genuine Ivoclar IPS e.max materials.
Taki Dent's standard-tier crowns and veneers use Dental Direkt DD cubeY® HL zirconia. No separate Dental Direkt manufacturer warranty was identified for this material in the official public documentation reviewed — Dental Direkt's published warranty documents (DD Solid Connect, DD Solid Protect) cover implant component systems, not zirconia crown material. Coverage for these restorations is Taki Dent's own 5-year clinical guarantee only.
Taki Dent clinical guarantee ≠ manufacturer warranty. A manufacturer's warranty typically relates to eligible manufacturer products or components and operates entirely under that manufacturer's own terms — often benefiting the treating dentist rather than the patient directly, and usually covering product replacement only. Taki Dent's clinical guarantee is the clinic's own, separate commitment, under the guarantee conditions published on this page. The two are complementary, not interchangeable.
Taki Dent 5-Year Clinical Guarantee Certificate
Every ceramic restoration leaves our clinic with a written certificate that proves the exact material used and backs it with a 5-year warranty. Issued together with our own digital laboratory, it records full material traceability — so you, and your local dentist, can verify that genuine, branded materials were used.
This is Taki Dent's own clinical guarantee, separate from Ivoclar's applicable 10-year IPS e.max manufacturer guarantee.
✓Genuine Ivoclar IPS e.max (lithium disilicate) — manufacturer, brand and material type stated in full.
✓Full traceability: shade, quantity and the original manufacturing lot number.
✓The dental laboratory and the technician who produced the work — both named and signed.
✓A written 5-year warranty from the delivery date, countersigned by the treating clinician.
• The guarantee period begins on the date the final restoration is delivered to the patient, or the date the relevant treatment is completed.
• The guarantee is valid only for treatments carried out by Taki Dent, and only within the conditions set out in this policy.
• Every guarantee claim is assessed individually by the dentist, taking into account the patient's clinical situation, the type of treatment, and the cause of the problem.
• The guarantee is valid for all our international patients regardless of where they live, and is documented in a written certificate you take home after treatment, which can also be presented to your local dentist.
This guarantee programme expresses an additional clinical support policy provided by Taki Dent to our patients. It does not remove or limit the patient's statutory rights under applicable law.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What exactly does the Taki Dent guarantee cover?
It covers manufacturing and material defects in the restorations we make (crowns, veneers, implant-supported prosthetics) and failures of technical origin that occur under normal use and appropriate aftercare. If a restoration chips, fractures, or fails due to a fault on our side within the guarantee period, we repair or replace it at no additional treatment cost. It does not cover damage from accidents, neglect, or the situations listed under "When the Guarantee Does Not Apply".
Q: The implant guarantee is "lifetime" — does that mean the implant will last forever?
No. The lifetime guarantee is a material guarantee: it covers manufacturing and material defects in the implant body and its original components. It does not guarantee that the implant will remain in your mouth biologically for life. Osseointegration, peri-implantitis, bone loss, smoking, and uncontrolled systemic disease are biological factors outside the material guarantee — though every complication is still assessed individually by our clinic.
Q: How is Taki Dent's guarantee different from a manufacturer warranty?
Taki Dent's clinical guarantee is our own commitment as your treating clinic. A manufacturer warranty (Nobel Biocare, Straumann, or Ivoclar) is a separate programme run by that manufacturer, under its own terms — typically covering product replacement only, and typically benefiting the treating dentist rather than the patient directly. Where a manufacturer warranty applies, it runs alongside our own guarantee, not instead of it.
Q: How do I claim if I'm back home in the UK or Germany?
Contact Taki Dent via WhatsApp, email, or video call with current photographs of the affected area. We may also ask for a panoramic radiograph or CBCT scan, information on when and how the problem started, and records from any other clinic involved. Our clinical team assesses the issue remotely and advises on next steps; where a definitive assessment is needed, it is made after clinical and radiological examination. Corrective clinical work covered by the guarantee is carried out at the clinic free of charge.
Q: Does the guarantee cover my flights and hotel for a corrective visit?
Not automatically. Unless your written treatment plan or guarantee certificate specifically states otherwise, the guarantee does not cover flights, personal travel expenses, or other third-party costs. Any travel, transfer, or accommodation support specific to you is applied according to the conditions in your own treatment agreement.
Q: What happens if I have a dental emergency at home?
Contact us as soon as you can. If an emergency requires you to attend another healthcare provider, we recommend informing our clinic before the intervention where possible, or immediately afterwards — this protects your guarantee, because intervention carried out elsewhere without clinical approval is otherwise outside its scope.
Q: Does the guarantee affect my legal rights?
No. This guarantee programme is an additional clinical support policy provided by Taki Dent. It does not remove or limit your statutory rights under applicable law.
